Feb. 1st, 2008 04:05 pmToday I went to the gym again. I added some weight to the ab machine and a couple of the arm machines and I added a glut machine that I hadn't been using. I also set the machine I'm using for cardio at a little higher resistance than last time. Baby steps...
I'm enjoying going to the gym by the way. It's not too huge a time suck so far and I enjoy the weight machine portion of the workout, though the stairsteppers/exercycles are kind of boring. I do them first so I can get them out of the way and can reward myself with the rest of the workout.
It would be cool to someday have actual muscle definition instead of being all blobby and stuff and in my mind I know that's possible but in my heart it doesn't really seem like it will work. Still, I persevere, since either way, my mood is just better all afternoon after I work out.
