We went to some pet stores tonight to look for dog supplies for our impending dog. And we came out with a fish. We probably didn't need a fish, but oh well. He's pretty and Davey is crazy about him. Davey always goes nuts in the fish section of stores.

Be prepared for a short life. I've never known any fish to hang around for long. (Or maybe that was due to the fish-keeper!)

Yeah, I had some goldfish once (a gift, not something I had wanted) and they were gone inside the month. Davey is not overly sentimental though and will likely be happy if we can replace it if it dies. I'm hoping to get a few months out of it though. We can always hope.

before you buy too much dog stuff, tell me what you need. i know i have at least a couple leashes, a small dog bowl, and toys that our dogs NEVER play with. get in touch with me and i'll give you what you can use out of my donation pile. oh...brushes too.

Thank you, I'm sure we would take some toys and things. Yesterday we just bought a collar and leash so we can get the darn thing home from the vet. We're picking it up Monday as I understand.
