Took the boys up to the nursing home to see their grandfather, maybe for the last time, at Jack's request. Yesterday he could still answer questions but today cannot speak. He's still not eating or drinking and he's now on oxygen and whatever appropriate meds and looked reasonably comfortable. My SIL has been sitting with him today and playing his favorite music on a cassette player. Afterwards I took the kids to Jack's favorite Chinese buffet since he was kind of upset. Other than that, work was ok, the house needs a going over, we're all tired, and I hope bedtime comes early tonight.
