I admit to having a bit of a fetish for women's hair:). And I hate it when I see someone with gorgeous hair like yours cut short:(

It looks like the votes are with you so far. I guess I'll leave it long, sigh. I like the versatility (and sexiness) of long hair, but there's all that blow drying and conditioning and dealing with split ends, which was no problem when I was a single girl, but now I see why women all get that "mommy" haircut.
