Oh, my vinyl dress got here and I think it looks good. I was worried that it would be too long, but it's not. Of course I don't look like the model who was wearing it in the ad, but I look about as good as I can look in it. I still don't know what to do with my hair though. Either a tight bun for that severe look, or my clip on ponytail for that festive look. Which should it be? You can see what I look like with the clip on ponytail somewhere on this page.

I like the ponytail! Kinky dress, fem hair works for me!

I picked up one of those Madonna-style ponytail falls at the Cheap-Ho Wig-Stoe here in Seattle. They're easy to wear you just pull your hair into a bun and stick the cup-like part of the wig over it. then clip it on with bobby pins. They combine dominatrix, 50's bad girl and (depending on where you position them) I dream of genie. It is one of the best fake hair investments I have ever made.

I've got a lace up PVC dress too...its floor length and glam-rock silver. I love it, but I haven't worn it in ages - my work hours and my parental duties have sucked much of my glamour away :-(

Hmmm

Well I vote for the bun too...I love the fake hair on you! But it seems like with at least what I picture the dress looking like I am thinking bun....low on the neck...and serious dramatic eye makeup and red lips...blood red...do you have to powder yourself to get in the dress? Is it sweaty? I always thought vinyl would be sweaty...of course this is coming from a girl whose major fashion statement is Birks and socks! But hey I do shave during the summer now! You'll be a hot mama no matter what you wear!

Actually, I was suprised, but the backing is a sort of soft felty texture, so it's only shiny vinyl on the outside. It's much more comfy than I thought it would be. And it sort of moves with your body, so it's not too restricting even though it's very tight. I'm just hoping I don't look like a giant black shiny sausage...

I used to do nothing but the whole sandals and birks thing. Hippie clothes all the time, but over the last year or two, I've really been drawn to girly-girl clothes. Platform shoes and low cut dresses and lace. I'm sure it's a phase I'm going through.

I tried on a traditional style leather motorcycle jacket at the mall yesterday and I was really digging that bad girl look too...

I find doing what you like is best. Others might have good ideas but they don't really know what the look you are looking for. So as i said go for your favorite idea that you want to do..... what ever you decide will look good.
