Lush.com items or a gift certificate for such
Box set of A&E Nero Wolfe series DVDs
An uncomplicated sewing machine
Any kinds of festive and or fuzzy socks
2 or 3 new beach towels
A mani/pedi or gift certificate for such
A cheap, but new, gas grill
A bluetooth speaker I can put in my car for talking on my cell
Colored ballpoint pens/markers/sharpies
Mystery or puzzle games for the PC
A boombox purse (it looks like a boombox, but plays your mp3 player)
A "Little Miss Fun" t-shirt
My own copy of Settlers of Catan and Titan: The Arena

I hit 43 yesterday. Kinda anti-climactic. Sweetie is just off a trial and is wiped out. On the plus side, she did get me one of these

The is currently backordered but I can't wait to get it. The reviews look like a lot of fun. Weird that youtube has a lot of videos on vibrators. I found a clip on how to put the "off with your head" vibrator head on my hitachi there. Was grateful for that because the head wasn't easy to get off and I think I would have given up if I didn't know it would work.

I didn't expect 40 to suck- they always said 30 would suck, and my 30's were great !
40 itself did suck, but I had a LOT of personal crisis that had nothing to do with my age that year (deaths in family, etc).
I'm 41 now- and yanno what ?
It's kinda cool- I'm enjoying the 'heading into crone' stage.
I can see how much I treasure my childrearing years, and I can see how much fun the no-kids years are gonna be !

I am so trying not to even think about it. But I am going to drink a lot that day. Thankfully it's on a Saturday because they're funny about people drinking all day at work...
