In some of the mornings and late nights, the kids swam at the hotel pool as well. You'll note that at no time was anyone allowed to take a nap or return to the room during the day, but my kids are totally used to our vacation death marches and I really like to get our money's worth out of a trip. It's kind of a point of pride with them now to keep up with Mom's schedule. :-)

Tomorrow I'll try to post a few of the highlights of things we actually did at all those places.

I am not man enough for your vacation. I admit it.
However, I do have some vacation time saved up for when you come to visit. I'm going to need your flight info and travel dates again though, my e-mail ate it. Also, I am a moron. My e-mail is Rhias at mac dot com.

No. I hated Disneyland. (Shuddering) My kids didn't even like it, other than a couple of rides that the boys liked, it was an amazing disappointment. We are SO weird.

When we just went up in the mountains and played in mountain streams (pretending we were lost on a deserted island), THAT'S the vacation the remembered from that year. I guess its a good thing, since finding a mountain to hike around is quite a bit cheaper!:)

See, my kids went to the mountains with R and my folks, and they liked it, but they mostly liked finding activities and things to ride while they were there. They're not much on just hanging around in the wilderness, but then again, neither am I. We mostly want to find the fastest thrill rides we can and ride them a lot. We're the ADHD family, lol.
