Hey, were you awakened at 6:30 am today with "Merry Christmas Mama, and there's a bird in our bathroom!" No? Then I have you beat. There was a sparrowy sort of bird flying frantically around our bathroom this morning that I'm pretty sure wasn't there when I brushed my teeth last night. So we spent about 30 minutes chasing this bird out of the bathroom and toward various windows that we opened up despite the freezing cold and about 7:00 we finally got him out the front door. I don't know how the bird got there in the first place, but my Dad suggested that perhaps Santa left him for the cats. If so, I hope he thinks that over before next Xmas.
