Here are a couple of pictures from the ice storm last month. One is during the storm and one after.

Sheesh - and your car wasn't totalled? I think my first reaction on seeing a tree on my car would be - NEW CAR!!!

When the limbs started falling, I told my father-in-law he'd better move his good truck under the carport. He grumbled at me a bit, but then he did it. Next morning, a limb like that from one of the pecans right where his truck was.

We had several minor limbs fall on vehicles, despite our best efforts to move them all, but that was the only big one.

They've picked up the first and second round of limbs here, so it's more back to normal now.

Hahaha, probably what you consider totalled and what I consider totalled are two different things. :-) I drove it all over today and it's perfectly driveable, fortunately. What will actually have to be done is stick the plastic body panel back on the trunk because it's not broken but it is detached, replace the plastic body panel on the driver's side fender and replace the windshield. Much cheaper than a new car, yay!
