Today after work, Mom brought the kids to my office and I met them in the parking lot. They were already in swimsuits and I had packed a bag with my swimsuit and some towels and we went right over to Big Splash. We played in the activity pool, then the wave pool, and then once I was good and wet, I let the kids stay and splash for another couple of hours while I mostly laid out in a deck chair in the shade and read and let the wind blow over my damp skin. It was sensational! I went and wet myself down a couple more times because it just felt so good. The kids had a wonderful time, after a couple of weeks of being stuck inside so much due to weather. I got to decompress after my first week back at work (and the job is still great so far!) We're all just in a good mood now. As we were leaving the waterpark we called Fortune Chef, which is our favorite Chinese food, and put in an order and picked it up on the way home. I was pleasantly surprised that even with ordering bottles of water for the kids because they were thirsty from playing, the grand total for dinner was $9, so we still have enough money for movies and and snacks and stuff the rest of the weekend, thanks to R's kindness. And Friday I start having paydays again! Yay!!!
