I just got back from looking at the Leonids out at Mohawk Park. I was going to go by myself, but my husband woke up and wanted to go too, so we poured the kids into the car and all went. We met my folks there, although Pops retired to the car pretty quickly. Jack saw a few, then got in the car with Pops. Davey ooohed really loud every time we did, but I don't know if he really saw any or not.

Since I saw dozens of shooting stars, maybe my wishes will come true.

I'm so jealous. I wanted to watch the Leonids - but we're having Autumn here in Seattle, and the clouds keep the sky a constant flannel-gray. Most of the time I enjoy being wrapped in the fuzzy blanket, but when I want to look at the moon, or watch the meteor showers I would prefer a clear sky. Glad you got to see it though...sounds lovely.
