So this morning I'm sitting at my desk and I get a transfer call from somewhere in the building. I pick it up and a very professional voice says "This is KRMG news and we were wondering if you could give us a comment on the morning-after pill." I'm thinking, well this is odd, KRMG never wanted my opinion before, but I do have one...and then the clinic assistant comes running around the corner saying "I transferred that call to the wrong person!" So I had to transfer it to someone else and didn't get to be on the conservative news espousing my feminist views, darn it. Probably for the best, no?

Heh, fortunately, my view of the morning after pill likely corresponds closely to my employer's view, but still, I'm not sure I'm supposed to go randomly talking to the media on behalf of my work, lol.

Probably whoever did talk to them said the same thing I would have, but it would have been fun to get to be the one to say it.

I think I would have had to correct him with something like: "I think you mean, what do I think about a woman having control over her own body?" Conversely, a sarcarstic, "Excuse me, where did you just call? Think you can handle this one yourself?" More subtly, "Morning after pill... morning after what?" Or, "Dammit, Jim. I told you I took it yesterday!" Or, "What do YOU think about it?" Or, "Before I answer, let's get the answer to the really important question, 'what do I think of KRMG's ability to accurate relay my opinions without bias?'" Or, perhaps just a simple, "They're yummy!"

I went down to the hospital again and saw my friend and the little girl from the wreck. Everyone's holding up reasonably well.
