Today's conversations:

--

Dingo: Where do you want to go on our next big vacation? San Francisco, Paris or Kansas?

Me: Kansas.

Dingo: (disdainfully) Bzzt! Wrong! Paris!

Me: *silence while I ponder what a five year old wants to do in Paris*

--

Jesse: I've been thinking about the theory that gravitons can move between parallel universes.

Me: Isn't Gravitron a video game?

Jesse: *rolls eyes*

R: Maybe we should get him a tutor for this stuff.

Yeah, I don't understand this sports stuff Conner is into, myself. It must be in the water anymore or something. LOL!

You should got to San Francisco - there is a great science museum there, and it would be easy for me to fly down and meet you...plus there is the medieval torture Museum! Who doesn't like medieval torture?

That sounds very fun. I still have our Las Vegas trip in mind though w/o the kids. When I get back to work I was going to start trying to save toward that. Though I would like you to meet them. I think you'd like them. They're funny little weirdos.

Is there a tutor for gravitons and parallel universe physics?

I think it's call M.I.T. or something. :-P

He meant Paris, TX.

Heh, I asked him after I read this and he said "Not Texas, FWANCE!" SO there goes my travel budget.

I think his tutor may be the problem . She just ordered a video on Stephen Hawking.

I think he's going to end up needing more than videos eventually, though for now it's just about right. Mom or I can learn it right off the video with him, but he'll need someone who can go beyond that...

Kind of scary wondering where to find someone I trust to know more than he does.

Well, I wouldn't call myself much more than a hack as far as particle physics is concerned, but if something comes up you can't find an answer for, I'd be happy to give it a shot!

Scott explained gravitons to me, but I imagine there will be many future questions that I will be casting about for answers to. I took all my science credits in physical anthropolgy and marine biology and such. I'm very shaky on physics.

I agree with Dingo "go to Paris." Just think of all the fun the guys would have, and let's not forget about the international scandal they could cause. :) Woo Hoo fun for all.
