tapestry01, we took the kids to the Geoscience Center for a field trip set up by my friend Susan, and I got the boys' hair cut. Susan and I had a really good talk while the kids went on the geoscience tour and did the activities. She's had about the same experience with Campfire that I've had (Campfire is where I met her), but she quit and helped start another group rather than stay and deal with cliquishness. I don't know when to quit though, so we stay. The kids love this group anyway and I just have to keep reminding myself that it's for them, not for me. We talked about some other things of mutual interest too and it was really pleasant to reconnect with her.
This evening the kids and I are probably just going to watch TV and maybe do a little cleaning unless we get a better offer.
