This was our last day and we needed to leave the hotel at 4:35pm to catch our flight back. We got up early and checked our luggage with the hotel to be taken straight to the airport. They issued our boarding passes too, which was very convenient. It was raining, and R bought everyone rain slickers as we werent' going to miss out on a whole day just due to that. We also made a few last minute gift shop purchases besides the rian slickers. We decided we wanted to finish up a few things at EPCOT and MGM, so we went to EPCOT first and rode Soarin' again twice, bought some fruit plates for breakfast, and then rode Mission Space, which was a little intense for me, but once again the kids loved it. You're enclosed in a little capsule and it was kind of like getting an MRI for me. I freaked out at an MRI once, lol, but apparently it only bothered me. We looked around a little more, then caught the boat over to the Nations and split up: Mom and Dad ate lunch in Morocco and had desserts in France and R and the kids and I did a little shopping and ate at a nice Japanese restaurant overlooking the lagoon. I was so freaking full. Our meal plan included appetizers and desserts for every member of the party and we ate like that all week. I'm surprised we all fit back in the plane.

Having finished up EPCOT, we took a boat to MGM, getting to go through several other resorts on the way, which was cool to look at. At MGM we talked my Mom into the Tower of Terror, which she's still mad about. She also took the kids to a Beauty and the Beast show while R and Dad and I shopped and rode the ToT an additional time. Jesse got to buy a giant turkey leg to eat and my folks got another snack (we were trying to use up meal coupons, lol) and then headed back to the hotel. R and the kids and I stayed a little longer and saw a show on the Magic of Disney Animation and let Jesse get Chicken Little's autograph. Our bus took a while getting back to the hotel and we came within minutes of missing our airport bus, but we made it. The rest of the trip was very uneventful, except for airport security stoping Jesse due to the four or five pockets in his shorts filled with change which he forgot to empty. We had a lot of turbulance on our first flight back and it got in almost an hour late. I called a van line to wait for the lady in the seat across because she didn't have a cell phone. We had a long layover though, so had plenty of time ourselves. We ended up getting back to Tulsa about 11:45 and not home til about 1:00, about as tired as you'd expect.

I've probably left sonme things out, but I expect Mom might correct me or make her own post if she gets time. It's good to be home, but it was really fun to be so pampered and to get away from it all for so long. The kids acted great, even on the planes and meeting new people on the buses. I was very proud of them when I saw all the kids in the parks throwing fits or getting all cranky. I'm glad to know my kids travel so well, but they've been on a lot of weekend trips so it didn't surprise me. I hope we can go back and hit some of the other attractons sometime, but for now I'm happy to be back home. :-)

It was so nice. I know you'll love going with your kids too. I'm full of "helpful" travel advice, lol.

Or perhaps it has something to do with how well you & yours plan out such big events. :)

Thanks. I do try. Actually, I LOVE to plan vacations, conventions, parties, and other various cunning schemes. I just don't get a chance to do much of it these days.
