I let everyone sleep in til 8:00, lol. We went downstairs to one of the hotel restaurants and had breakfast, then caught the bus to the Magic Kingdom. We stopped and got Jack some character autographs (he got a lot of these over the week) and then hurried to the Haunted Mansion. From there I had intended to take the kids down to Pirates of the Carribean, but they were distracted by It's a Small World and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad so we did those first. After Pirates, we rode Aladdin's Magic Carpets and then headed off to lunch reservations at the Crystal Palace Restaurant, where Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet stopped at our table. After lunch we walked into Tomorrowland, where we rode Space Mountain, Stitch's Great Escape, Tomorrowland Transit, and the Indy Speedway. My Mom and the kids went on the speedway together and the rest of used the time for drinks and a bathroom stop. We walked up into Fantasyland after that and Mom took the kids on the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups and we went to Disney Philharmagic, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White's Scary Adventure and Cinderella's Carousel. On our way to the train out of the park, the kids rode the Barnstormer Roller coater and the kids and I got our faces painted. Jesse got the Genie (to match his blue hair), Dingo was a dalmation and I got the Evil Queen, of course.

By the time we got through all of that, it was time for our dinner reservations at Ohana in the Polynesian resort. We took the train to the front gate and the monorail to the resort. Dinner was absolutely wonderful. Various meats on sticks cooked in a firepit, salad, cheesy potatoes, crispy flatbreads with polynesian sauces, peel and eat shrimp, and wonderful desserts with ice cream and coffee. Even a special vegetarian entree for Mom. This wacky Polynesian lady came around during the meal and got all the kids up for limbo and singing and maraca shaking and a coconut regatta where they got to bat coconuts around with brooms. We realized toward the end of dinner that our table was overlooking the Magic Kingdom and that they were about to do the fireworks there, so we stayed and watched them with dessert. They piped in the music from the fireworks show, so we got a real treat there. I had planned a lot of our trip, but this was a surprise as I had no idea we'd be able to see the fireworks from this restaurant. Getting home afterwards via monorail and bus was sort of an adventure, but it worked out fine eventually. Was a good day with a nearly magical ending. I think dinner at the Polynesian was the hit of the trip for the adults.

Glad you had such a fun trip! It's good you got to see Pirates of the Carribean, because I read Disney is going to change a bunch of the show to include scenes from the movies. The new Pirates show might have an animatronic Johnny Depp...
