It probably just means that you're mostly balanced in your personality traits, but since you've just had an emotional shock and are grieving, you might take it again later on and see if it's different.
My N/S and T/F scales are always fairly balanced too, but my other two scores are consistently weighted heavily toward E and P. Someone else on my friends list is into Myers Briggs. If he reads this maybe he'll comment.
I think the problem is that the quiz is poorly designed. It gives you the in between choice. It needs to force you to choose one way or the other. You could try taking it again while ignoring the "I'm really in between" choice on each question. That may help.
