My house smells freaking awesome. I made some creamy potato soup that involved sauteeing a bunch of potato chunks, fresh garlic, green onion, rosemary and bacon bits in olive oil and butter before adding the broth and cream. I think the rosemary really adds something, btw, if you've never put it in potato soup before. The soup was really very good, but I did this hours ago and the house still smells like a gourmet restaurant. Maybe I'll make it every day, just as an air freshener, lol.

It was awfully good, and the best part is that I had enough left over for another meal. I tend to make large pots of soup if I'm going to that much trouble anyway.
