I went out to Dym tonight to hear the 80s music, being a child o' the 80s and all. The music was really good, but I mostly just sat by myself. It was sort of pathetic in a junior high kind of way, but everyone I recognized was already with friends when I got there and I didn't want to butt into their conversations. Believe it or not, I can be really shy when I'm by myself and out of my element. gothmom came up and gave me a hug, as did lovegoth, who also gave me a little cheer up dance. That was fun, but next week I'm going to take a friend I think, if I go.

I found out what may be causing my despairing mood this week. I went to the Dr today and I have an infection that is making me feel sick and have chills, which I've been having off and on for two days. I'm not contagious, so don't worry if you've been near me. I hope that's all that's wrong with me. I was about to cry tonight at Dym and I hope it's just that I'm a little sick. I got some antibiotics and we'll see if it all improves.

When I got home I was feeling really bad and I had been shivering uncontrollably in the car, and when I sat down to the computer I got an IM to come to a chat with jorjedatoy and some other friends and it made me feel much much better and less alone. And then another friend IMed me just as that chat broke up. Yay for friends! Thank you friends!

Thanks, I'll come say hi next time. I thought you might be too busy and I didn't want to butt in. I really did like sitting and listening to the music. Yay for 80s music!

I haven't been going out on Thursdays cause we have our gamer friends over then, but I seem to have offered some girl a ride next week cause she really wanted to go and doesn't drive at night, so I guess the gamers'll have to be womanless Thursday. They ought to be used to that. :-)
