Today I had a sudden hard painless lump show up on my wrist. I wondered if I should go to the doctor (which I hate doing) so I looked online first and what I have apparently is a Volar Wrist Ganglion, which appears to be basically harmless unless it gets so big it's compressing nerves, which this one's not. Yay for the intertubes! They saved me a trip across town and a $20 co-pay to find out I have something that they won't do anything about.
