I think my obsession with politics is sending my blood pressure up. Next week on vacation, I'm going to try to limit my TV/blog/newspaper time and just relax for a while. It's not like the politics won't go on without me. I'm sure they'll still be there when I get back.

OMGosh! You are missing Sarah Palin's first interview tonight with Charlie Gibson. Are you sure you want to go cold turkey??

I wasn't planning on the news blackout til next week, but in any case, I think I'll just read a synopsis of the interview in various blogs/news reports tonight and tomorrow. I'd watch it myself but when I listen to Sarah Palin talk, I start to get a headache in addition to the aforementioned blood pressure problems.
