Today while charging an MP3 player from the computer, I managed to break the USB port it was connected to. Or it broke anyway, I'm not sure I did anything wrong. This would not be so bad, as I have other USB ports on the back of the computer, but apparently the broken one managed to short out something so that the computer wouldn't work at all. So I called R and he had me bring it over and he fixed it in about 2 minutes, PLUS he found my hi-speed USB ports which were hidden behind a little door at the bottom of the front of the case. My computer keeps bitching at me to use the hi-speed ports for my wireless adaptor, but I've never known where they were so I just ignored the constant messages. Anyway, happy computer day, everything is fixed, plus I am now using the right port for my wireless, even if R did give me a look like I was perhaps a caveman when I said I couldn't find the hi-speed USB ports.
