Jun. 24th, 2008 03:53 pmToday, booking our vacation for next year, I made a mistake that wasn't really my mistake but I kind of felt like it was even though I hadn't known we had a conflict for that weekend and wasn't told til 5 minutes AFTER I made the reservations. The $1700 reservations. I was, as you might imagine, in kind of in a panic, so I called Orbitz all freaked out and the lady on the phone took care of it in about 10 minutes. She got me refunded the airfare even though she didn't have to and their policy says there's a fee which she didn't charge me, plus she called the hotel manager to get a waiver to get the hotel refunded so I could rebook for the following weekend. AWESOME customer service from Orbitz. I book most of our travel through Orbitz and have been really happy with it, but this time I am REALLY happy.
