A nice ending to a very variable year.

Today I am wearing a skirt that I bought mail order a year or so ago. It's a long straight denim skirt, very cute, but also too small. When I bought it I couldn't actually wear it but I was too lazy to send it back, so it's just been hanging in my closet all this time. Today I thought I'd try it on and see if I could at least get it zipped, and whoa, it zipped right up and fits fine. I know by the scale that I've lost about 15 lbs in the last year and a half, but it's nice to see the number validated by something in the real world.
