Mmmm...tonight I made bratwurst and red onions in beer, fresh buttered corn on the cob and a fresh fruit salad with all the seasonal fruits I could come up with. My Mom and Dad came over and brought herbed new potatoes, sliced Bixby tomatoes, and Mom's strawberry dream pie, which is whole perfect strawberries toasted in meringue in a homemade crust. I don't think it gets more summery than that.
