lisamoeMonday nights sound very hectic with all the running around, but I actually find them kind of nice. Dingo has Kung Fu from 5:30 to 6:30 in midtown Tulsa and then Jesse has Theatre Arts in Broken Arrow from 7:15 to 8:15. So I end up taking Jesse to eat and having some nice one-on-one conversation with him while Dingo goes to class and then we drive to BA and I do the same with Dingo while Jesse is in class. They get to each have what they want for dinner without fighting and I get to hear what they have to say without them competing for my attention. It's good for them both.
Tonight I took Jesse to The Thai-Siam right by the martial arts studio because he can't remember ever having had Thai food (though I took him for it once when he was about 6.). He had calamari and veg over Thai noodles and a cup of hot green tea. He was in heaven. I had their bean sprout and chicken low-carb stir-fry, which was excellent. I was pleased and surprised that they had a small low-carb menu. Dingo just had spaghetti at Mazzios. He isn't an adventurous eater. He and I also stopped at Love A Pet and got some crickets for Norman.
Now I'm home watching a rerun of Monk off my DVR and drinking some cherry wine from St. James Winery up in MO. It may not be hifalutin, but it is a good guzzling wine. :-)
