We had intended to go to a movie last night, but then the freezing rain started and we decided to saty in and watch a Mail Call about the Vietnam war rather than de-ice a car. Mail Call was good anyway and we'll probably hit the movie Sunday. It's "The Fastest Indian in the World" at the Circle Cinema if anyone wants to join us.

The house is cold this morning. We're having new windows made, but until they're installed, this house is pretty drafty. The window guy came late in January for the measurements and it's supposed to take about a month to fabricate these things, so hopefully soon. Yay! Have I mentioned that my parents rock for making all these home improvements that they're not even getting to use.

I'm supposed to go pick up the boys from R today, but I'm going to ask him to keep them til after lunch if he will, to give the roads time to clear up some. I love my Mustang, but a lightweight car with rear wheel drive is not so great for snow driving.

you'll LOVE those windows! my dad had some installed for me about 3 years ago. he even sprang for the tilt-in kind for ease of cleaning. cuz we all know how much i do THAT shit.

What is this 'Snow' of which you speak? Is it that white stuff I have seen on stories from the TV-box and the movin' pictures?

We have it here, but it's less solid and brown. Our name for it is 'mud,' and the indigenous rednecks attempt to get their conveyances stuck in the stuff.
