I got crabs!

lisamoeThe kids and I went to the mall today and got two more hermit crabs to keep Mr. Pinchy company while Mr. Tries-To-Get-Out digs in and molts. Jack wanted this ginormous one bigger than my fist, with claws bigger than some of the small crabs, but I figured it would just eat the other crabs, so he settled on a more modest one. Davey picked another teeny-tiny one. They seem to be doing well. No legs have fallen off or anything, which is my prime indicator of crab happiness, I guess.

mstami called us while we were at the mall and invited the boys to go on a field trip to Frankoma Pottery next week, which was approved by the committee with very little debate. :-) And spirits are still high over the upcoming Disney-o-rama. So all in all, a pretty good day with the kids today. :-)
