lisamoeWe went to the Muskogee Castle RenFaire today and had a really fine time. The weather was so beautiful, everyone just seemed to be in a good mood, and my companion was beleaguered with cute wenches begging him to be in a "wet tunic" contest, which made his day. Oh, and he got to ride a camel, which a friend got a picture of him doing.

nxtwothou and slarti24, Matt and Rachel, mstami and her daughter, and also perkypeppycute. We sat through the funny Bilge Pumps show, got some soup in a bread bowl, a really excellent snow cone, and some peanut butter fudge. I didn't try any elk kabobs but other people did. I also got a pink furry tail to wear, which I think is really cute. I bought my Mom something nice since we hadn't done much for her on Mother's Day. We also went through the torture chamber, which was pretty gross.
I think next week R and I are going to go back and take the kids. Or it might just be me, but anyway I'd like to take them and hang out more in the kids area and let them go through the mazes and stuff.
