Well, that was nice!

We went out to the Tomato Man, where this dude sells tomatoes and eggplants and peppers and eggs and sheep doo from this little yard by his house. I bought some plants and as I was paying, Jack said, "I wish I had one of these Cody's Paste tomatoes because I want to make my own sauce." And the guy just gave him one. I tried to pay for it but he wouldn't let me. He probably has a customer for life in little Jack.

Mom and Jack are out planting right now, while Davey and I watch Wallace and Gromit, which is a big hit here this week. After Jack comes in we're going to make some strawberry smoothies. I've been wanting a blender, which I haven't had since I moved, and I finally bought one tonight. Well, it's actually a "smoothie maker" but it's basically a blender with a spout.

I just remembered, the other day Davey is lying around on the couch after dinner looking all wrung out, so I asked him if he was sleepy and he said "No mama, I just had too much milk with my dinner and I'm overhydrated." Only he says "miwk" and "overhydwated" cause he's only barely 4. I just thought that was funny. I guess Jack taught him that word. Or he's receiving signals directly from Joopter, just like Jack does. :-)

The easiest way to get there is to take 75 south, get off at W. 81st St and go right about half a mile. There's a sign on the left side of the road and there he is. I had to knock on his door, but he was really pleasant about coming out and selling us stuff. I think if he's not open, he blocks the driveway.
