Well, I got a promising call on Friday. I haven't really wanted to go back to work for the State, so I've been dragging my feet a little on getting the paperwork done. I wasn't really happy there before, although it did have its good points. But Friday I got a call from another resume I sent off. It was to work for a child abuse prevention program that I used to be the liaision to when I worked for the State before. The same supervisor was still there and she remembered me and was really chatty and sounded very glad to have my resume. I have an interview Wednesday and I feel really good about it. I have exactly the right degree and experience, plus I already know the program and the folks who work there. So wish me luck. Maybe I won't have to go back to child welfare investigations.
