R is taking me to Hairspray for a birthday present! I went and picked up the tickets today with Dad cause he was getting Mom Riverdance tickets. We're taking Jesse to the play too, though of course not Dingo. Jesse is as excited as I am. He loves plays and getting to go out with the grownups. I checked some sites with reviews to make sure it wasn't going to be inappropriate for Jesse, but it seemed fine from what I read.

Jesse is watching the second episode of The Tomorrow People with my Dad right now. He is just loving it. My Mom showed him Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this morning. Not that they're stuck in the 70s or anything, lol. I think I'm going to have to show him some classic Trek just to say I'm contributing something to his historical cultural literacy. Dingo was not impressed with the TV choices this afternoon so he's gone outside to ride his scooter.

Yay! I haven't seen Jill in weeks so I called her today and she's going to go out with us on my birthday to the Irish Cheese event, plus we're going to lunch this Wednesday. She says things are looking up a lot at work, that they'd been so busy the last couple of months that they weren't even taking lunch hours, but caseloads are back down to just ridiculous rather than impossible, so lunch is back on the schedule. Yay!
