At Target tonight I saw something that I really wanted, but it seemed frivolous and self-indulgent so I didn't get it and now I wish I had. It was a down filled throw and I think it would be really nice and cozy to be under it right now. I have a big down comforter on the bad, but it's too heavy for summer. This was light and would be just the right size for me and the toddler curled up together. It was only $25. Maybe if I could convince myself it was for the toddler instead of for me.

I can so relate. So long as it's not for *me*, it's ok to be frivolous. Ugh. Honestly, though, I'd wait a little bit, settle some things, get all over your sick and such. Then go buy it. :)

Or maybe some stalker will buy it for you. ;)

I've got stuff like that all over the place here.

Just one word of advise, never throw it in the washer/dryer. I spent an hour digging out burgendy fluff off the sides of the washer and was cleaning out the lint trap every minute in the dryer.

So...yes...then I did it again like a week ago..to do the same thing.

Bonus side is, its now definately even lighter!

You're thinking of [livejournal.com profile] mistressxenobia's stalkers, LOL. They buy gifts. My stalkers are all under 4 feet tall and follow me around the house all day asking for stuff...

I knew that already. I have the intuitive feminine knowledge of laundry doing. Plus I've ruined a lot of shit already. :-)

Maybe if it had Bob the Builder or Thomas the Tank engine on it....

No, no, Davey needs to understand that while it is for HIS comfort, it needs to be visually appealing to you. ROFL.

Or maybe just that it needs to be big enough for Mommy to snuggle up under with him, and they don't make them that size with characters on them. :>

I wouldn't suggest wrapping it up as a gift, but...

I can justify any purchase - for someone else.

Great! Then you're buying it for me!!!

Actually, I'm still waiting for one of those GOOD stalkers. I've got more stuff I want too. :-)

LOL, no I meant I can justify why someone else should buy just about anything. hahaha I personally think someone else on your friends list may as well be a stalker and should buy it for you. <grin>
