Today I had to drive to Enid, which is about 120 miles due west of here, out on the Oklahoma plains. It seems to be filled with large grain silos and subject to sudden prairie thunderstorms. I can't recommend it as a great place to spend one's Wednesday morning.

We rode up I-35 from Mulhall to Ponca City Sunday. I love the plains views, even though the sudden rainstorms on the bike suck. Beautiful day though, can't wait to go spend some time there in October.

I had a meeting at the State School there, (now the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center.) I drive all over the state for my job, but I prefer driving down south through the hills rather than out across the flat part of OK.

They're pretty for a little while, but a little boring for a 2 hour drive by myself. I have ADD. :-)
