Yay! I booked our Chicago hotel. It looks really cool. All the reviews I read said it's little known but a very nice place to stay. Not very touristy. It's on the 40th floor of the Stock Exchange building. http://travel.wwte1.com/pub/agent.dll?qscr=dspv&htid=1112252&itid=5234103&from=i
I am so loving all this traveling. I've loved to go on trips since I was a kid and we'd take driving vacations to Colorado or Galveston or Washington DC or wherever. I'm so glad the kids travel well and enjoy it so much too. I know we won't be able to do this all the time, but if we can take some nice trips this year, I think it kind of makes up for the last couple of years of family deaths and other traumas and will give the kids some good memories.
Oh, and I think Jesse will get to add a couple more states to his list. We'll probably drive over into Indiana if it's not much trouble.

Staying in the same building as the Stock Exchange... That sounds perfect for Jesse! :)
