I've noticed that when I go to a party or event, there's always a friending fest on lj, facebook and other social networking sites afterward among various people who met each other at said party or event. It never happens to me though. I must be standoffish when I meet people or something. I don't really feel like I am, but I also don't seem to make the connections necessary to be more than a person one meets in passing, so it must be something like that. Maybe I need lessons in being friendly. It can't be that EVERYONE hates me on sight, lol. I mean, I'm sure some people do, but honestly, I'm a reasonably fun person to know.

I am quite the extrovert and can strike up a conversation with pretty much anyone. I think it is my TMI factor that can get in the way of my making friends. But then if someone can't handle TMI... they probably aren't a good choice for me anyway. :-P
Sorry to ramble.
